Biden Breast Health Initiative: A not-for-profit organization that provides an educational breast health awareness program (free of charge) to all public, private, and parochial schools, other groups and organizations in the state of Delaware.

Cancer Care Connection: A free public service to help you find local resources.

Christiana Care Breast Center: The area's only facility devoted exclusively to breast care, diagnosis and treatment.

Corexcel: Healthcare continuing education provider whose mission is to introduce programs that enhance the effectiveness of healthcare professionals and companies.

Delaware Academy of Medicine: Nonprofit agency that promotes professional and lay health education, maintains a medical library and archives, provides a meeting place for the medical and dental professions and related organizations and provides financial support for medical and dental students.

Delaware Helpline: A free online service which provides information on state government agencies and referrals to community resources. Also available by calling 1-800-464-HELP.

Delaware Pain Initiative: A statewide non-profit organization committed to providing information regarding optimal pain relief through education, advocacy, and support.

Healthy Delaware 2010: Healthy Delaware 2010 is the people of Delaware's Prevention agenda and the community health guide for the decade.

Healthy Wilmington 2010: Wilmington's plan to improve the health of its residents and those who work in the city.

Helen F. Graham Cancer Center: Christiana Care's Helen F. Graham Cancer Center centralizes a vast array of outpatient services under one roof, making care more convenient, efficient, and effective. The Center features unique multidisciplinary medical services that include teams of specialists that patients can see all in one visit.

Public Allies Delaware: Youth leadership development program linking community oriented young adults, ages 18-30, to agencies that serve our local community. DBCC has partnered with Public Allies Delaware since 2001. 

Screening for Life: Screening for Life, a program of Delaware's Division of Public Health, provides free diagnostic screenings for breast, cervical, and colon cancers for women who meet age, income, and insurance guidelines. Treatment benefits are also available to Delaware women diagnosed with breast cancer. Call 1-800-464-HELP and ask for Screening for Life.

Wellness Community - Delaware: Dedicated to helping people with cancer and their loved ones by providing professionally led programs of emotional support, education and hope as an integral part of conventional medical treatment.

American Cancer Society: Nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Asian Pacific Islander Cancer Education Tool: This tool provides links to participating Web sites that have Asian or Pacific Islander education materials on their Web sites. The materials referenced here have been screened by the participating Web sites for medical accuracy and cultural relevance.

Avon Breast Cancer Crusade: Avon Product's initiative to fight breast cancer in the United States and worldwide.

breastcancer.org: A non-profit organization dedicated to providing the most reliable, complete, and up-to-date information about breast cancer with the mission of helping women and their loved ones make sense of the complex medical and personal information about breast cancer in order to make the best decisions for their lives.

CancerCare: CancerCare is a national non-profit organization that provides free professional support services to anyone affected by cancer: people with cancer, caregivers, children, loved ones, and the bereaved. CancerCare programs—including counseling, education, financial assistance and practical help—are provided by trained oncology social workers and are completely free of charge.

CancerLinksUSA.com: Founded to provide support and information to cancer patients and their caregivers. 

fertileHOPE: National nonprofit organization dedicated to providing reproductive information, support and hope to cancer patients whose medical treatments present the risk of infertility.

Fox Chase Cancer Center: Independent, nonprofit institution devoted to improving cancer treatment and prevention.

Hurricane Voices Breast Cancer Foundation: Founded in 2001, the Hurricane Voices Breast Cancer Foundation raises public consciousness, incites action and breaks down the barriers to progress in pursuit of the causes and cures for breast cancer. We accomplish this through public awareness campaigns, educational programs and grant making and sponsorships.

Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research Foundation: Dedicated to the advancement of research of inflammatory breast cancer, leading to finding its causes and increasing the effectiveness of its treatment.

Intercultural Cancer Council: The Intercultural Cancer Council (ICC) promotes policies, programs, partnerships, and research to eliminate the unequal burden of cancer among racial and ethnic minorities and medically underserved populations in the United States and its associated territories.  The ICC provides a forum to identify shared problems and develop collaborative solutions; promotes new partnerships to address the cancer crisis in our communities.

Johns Hopkins University Breast Center: Comprehensive, multidisciplinary breast care program, offering a full spectrum of clinical and support services, from screening and diagnosis to treatment and counseling.

Lance Armstrong Foundation: The Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those living with, through and beyond cancer. LAF focuses its activities on survivorship education and resources, community programs, national advocacy initiatives and research.

Life After Early Breast Cancer (LifeABC): Life ABC is designed to raise awareness of the risk of recurrence for women with early breast cancer and encourage an ongoing dialog between these women and their health care professionals about the risk of recurrence.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC): A non-profit educational organization committed to empowering all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life.

Lymphatic Research Foundation: Nonprofit that supports and promotes lymphatic research that will lead to therapeutic advance and, ultimately, a cure for lymphatic disease, lymphedema, and related disorders. 

The Mautner Project: National lesbian health organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of lesbians/women who partner with women (WPW) and their families.

National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC): The nation's largest breast cancer advocacy group, committed to ending breast cancer. NBCC and its sister organization, the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund, work to educate and train individuals to be effective activists and to influence the public policies that affect breast cancer research and treatment.

National Cancer Institute (NCI): Coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.

National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship: The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship is the oldest survivor-led cancer advocacy organization in the country and a highly respected authentic voice at the federal level, advocating for quality cancer care for all Americans and empowering cancer survivors.

National Comprehensive Cancer Network: A not for profit that is an alliance of the world's leading cancer centers.

National Lymphedema Network: Internationally recognized non-profit organization to provide education and guidance to lymphedema patients, health care professionals and the general public by disseminating information on the prevention and management of primary and secondary lymphedema.

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation: Nonprofit dedicated to eradicate breast cancer a life-threatening disease by advancing research, screening, and treatment.
